Working together towards and beyond carbon neutrality

About
In 2022, the Nordic Dialogue on Voluntary Compensation aimed to inform Nordic and international stakeholders on the voluntary use of carbon credits as part of broader efforts towards and beyond carbon neutrality. The Dialogue fostered a common understanding of key issues and concepts and alignment with the principles and long-term goals of the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In 2023, the Nordic Dialogue Team has come back with a new project on building capacity for the voluntary carbon market. This project aims to promote best practices for the voluntary carbon market through a series of Nordic capacity building events. These events are designed to help Nordic stakeholders understand and implement best practices for voluntary carbon markets, in line with the results and recommendations of the Nordic Dialogue on Voluntary Compensation.
