On 4 September 2024, Nordic and EU stakeholders gathered online to discuss credible climate claims, focusing on key issues in the EU green claims legislation and options for cooperation.The workshop started with an overview of the latest status of the EU green claims legislation. The rest of the workshop was dedicated to identifying and discussing key issues in moderated sessions. The goal of the workshop was to identify key needs and opportunities for support and cooperation, and concrete action points for stakeholders for the coming months and years. The event was organised jointly by Perspectives Climate Research, Tyrsky Consulting and IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.

On 12 June 2024, an online event on voluntary
offsetting claims was organised for Swedish stakeholders. The workshop explored how the use of carbon credits for voluntary offsetting is
affected by the agreed EU ban on product-level offsetting claims, and how,
going forward, actors can support climate projects through the purchase of
carbon credits and communicate about it.

The final webinar of the Nordic Dialogue on Voluntary Compensation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (“Dialogue”) took place on November 29, 2022, where the Dialogue's results were presented and the final report “Harnessing voluntary carbon markets for climate ambition” summarised. The event featured presentations by the project team, commentators, and a Q&A session with the audience.
